Dizgi

Dizgi began while I was reading a long piece of writing shared as a series of screenshots. It felt like a small window into another person’s inner world; the writing held my attention, while the format kept interrupting it. I had felt the same friction while preparing my own writing in Canva, where every page break and layout adjustment had to be handled manually.

I built the first usable version in a day to handle page layout while leaving the writing in the author’s hands. Dizgi measures text using the chosen font, flows it across pages, respects intentional page breaks, and updates the preview as the layout settings change.

A focused writing view has its own light and dark themes. The browser saves the writing, layout settings, and uploaded background locally so you can return to the same workspace. Finished pages can be downloaded as PNG images, with multiple images collected in a ZIP, or together as a PDF.
